Title: And a Partridge in a Pear Tree
Fandom: Twilight
Pairing: Jacob/Leah
Rating: PG
Word Count: 520
Summary: He tries to frown at her, but it doesn’t work out so well. “Aren’t you kinda cold up in that tree?”
Author’s Notes: Also for [info]vanells at [info]twilight_santa. Because I couldn't resist a Jacob/Leah request, and all the other stuff I made is kind of depressing.

Title: In Hindsight
Fandom: Twilight
Pairing: Edward/Rosalie
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 3,100
Summary: Edward thinks in music. His mind is filled with combinations of strokes upon ivory keys that he secrets away like old boxes: labelled, sealed, coated with dust but always there, somewhere, for rediscovery. Five songs Edward Cullen could have played for Rosalie Hale, and one he couldn't.
Author’s Notes: Yay, ficmix! Created for [info]vanells, formerly known as [info]richardmessner. (And I got so worried when I saw that strike through your name, let me tell you!) All the songs are instrumental... piano instrumental. I’ve actually shared a few of these in other mixes before, but I quickly discovered that I really don’t have that many all-piano songs! Gah! However, I refused to abandon the idea, so hopefully you like it! The .zip file with all the songs is in the beginning, but you can individually download (or just listen to, as they’re on box.net) them as you go along. I was kind of iffy about focusing on this ship for your present, as you also mentioned you’d like Jacob/Leah and the wolfpack. Buuuuut... I kind of fell in love with it as I started writing, even though most of it's in past tense (whaaatt, a Twilight fic in past tense???). Hopefully it’s not too angsty. And historical.

Title: Dear Alice: What They Found Left Behind
Fandom: Harry Potter
Pairing: Bellatrix/Alice for [info]rarepair_shorts
Prompt: I want a clearer picture
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 471
Summary: A stack of what appeared to be old letters were found hidden behind a loose brick, addressed to ‘Alice’ by one Bellatrix Lestrange, now deceased.
Author's Notes: New claim. Creepy and multi-parted. The first part is set just after the War's end.

Title: The (Often Forgotten) Mission at Hand
Fandom: Harry Potter
Pairing: Remus/Sirius
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: ~1,400
Summary: “What’s all this ‘oh’ business?” Sirius demands, much too awake. He’s probably been caffeinated. A small snapshot of how the boys spend their Christmas Eves at Hogwarts.
Author’s Notes: Written for this year's [info]rs_small_gifts for the prompt “Sleeping is giving in, no matter what the time is. Sleeping is giving in, so lift those heavy eyelids.” Arcade Fire - Rebellion (Lies). Originally posted here. Rating is for silly boys and allusions to lycanthropic PMS.

Title: Involuntary Suspension
Fandom: Harry Potter
Pairing: Ron/Draco
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 2,483
Summary: “Did you just...?” Weasley screwed up his face and stared, the boulders in his tiny brain rolling about unhelpfully. “Did you just sniff me?”
Author’s Notes: Written for [info]ficadron for the prompt flying. Originally posted here. The rating is for innuendo. Remember: nothing dirty actually happens. It’s just that your inner twelve-year-old will be well pleased. This is pre-slash, with implications of them starting to fancy the pants off each other. Also, there are lumberjacks, and they’re okay. (And they belong to Monty Python.)

Title: What Happens in Agoura Hills (May or May Not Stay There)
Fandom: Twilight RPF
Pairing: Taylor Lautner/Kristen Stewart
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 4,500
Summary: Maybe she should’ve been excited for this. Who says skinning your knee is a bad thing?
Author's Notes: I started this back in August, and left it sitting out until yesterday. Perhaps the fact that I spent most of yesterday reading Merlin RPF made me feel guilty. I dunno. Anyway. This takes place during the Entertainment Weekly photo shoot. You probably saw this coming months ago and then promptly forgot about it (like me). No worries. I'm not sure if I like this one, but oh well. It's in Kristen's point of view, this time, but I don't think it tops Conspiracy Theories, sadly. Love Story belongs to Swifty. Blah blah blah, [info]taycob_kstew.

Title: As We Walked in Fields of Gold
Fandom: Harry Potter
Pairing: Rowena/Helga implied
Rating: G
Warnings: Colored pencils?
Artist's/Author's Notes: I drew art for [info]founders_gifts. Isn't that weird? It's like... my miracle drawing. I usually can't draw people. Or anything. But this turned out so good, and I finished it pretty much the day I sent out assignments. I was pretty gung-ho, I guess. Anyway, it's pretty gen-like, with more femmeslashy subtext than anything else. Also, there's a drabble. Originally posted here.
Summary: A journey to the Wand Tree as summer ends and autumn begins.

Title: Even if the World Changes
Fandom: Twilight
Characters: the wolf pack (minus Brady and Colin, because I don't remember them at all)
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 2,000
Summary: “You’re not leaving this around for posterity to find.” Three werewolves and an old video camera. Boys will be boys, after all.
Author’s Notes: Not sure how I feel about this one, since I really haven't been in the mood for writing lately. But it was written for [info]colorless_ideas at the [info]blackpack ficathon. She wanted Quil/Embry/Jake being awesome, Sam/Leah's background (could be just reference), whole pack dynamic. She didn't want Sam/Emily, therefore, Emily only shows up in the form of a muffin. Takes place sometime after New Moon and before Breaking Dawn. You've no idea how much I freaked out when I realized I couldn't write angst for this. A TWILIGHT FIC WITHOUT ANGST, WHAAATTTT?

Title: Blindly Unhindered in Your Own Descent
Fandom: Twilight
Pairings: Jacob/Bella
Rating: PG
Word Count: 867
Summary: You ate it up – time – with a laugh you didn’t recognize as you flicked your hair over your shoulder.
Author’s Notes: WARNING: ANGST AHEAD. Deals with – or doesn't – imprinting, and therefore includes Breaking Dawn in the trilogy. Sadly. But I like stories every so often where Bella gets what she deserves... although the other characters don't usually go down with her. There's a part where it is hinted at that imprinting can be undone, and no, it won't make sense, it's supposed to be confusing and vague, because Bella doesn't understand - and for all intents and purposes, this is told in her point of view. This is a story in which Bella gets a belated reality check and is hoisted by her own petard. You may actually feel sorry for Edward.

Title: Sugar High
Fandom: Narnia RPF
Pairing: Anna Popplewell/Skandar Keynes
Rating: G
Word Count: 454
Summary: Anna isn’t sure how much sugar Skandar’s had. She isn’t sure what exactly he’s eaten, either. Consumed. The point is more that he’s had some in the first place, and she can see why it’s the forbidden fruit of the Keynes household.
Author's Notes: Written for the drabble-a-thon at [info]narnia_rpf, this is not angsty; it's based on some foggy memories I have of doing or witnessing behavior much like Skandar's. ;P

Title: The Wig Burning
Fandom: Twilight RPF
Pairing: Taylor Lautner/Kristen Stewart
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 1,750
Summary: She puts her head on his shoulder, and they stare at the ugly, black thing sitting on the table in front of them. It’s kind of fascinating, staring at it, because if you look long enough, it actually looks like a dead animal. Or maybe a not-dead animal that’s just sleeping, or something, legs all splayed out and maybe sort of flattened.
Author's Notes: Because with all the Taylor/Kristen interviews at Comic-Con, I couldn't not. And also, there is so much hating on Taylor's wig. Blah blah blah, [info]taycob_kstew. Blah blah blah, disownment. Blah blah blah, timeline is sketchy because I'm pretty sure this never happened. Blah blah blah, because I can.

Fandom: fairytales
Pairing: Little Red Riding Hood/Briar Rose
Rating: G
Word Count: 150
Summary: “My,” she says, “how lovely you are.”
Author's Notes: Written for [info]femslash100's Prompt Battle. The prompt was: Fairytales, Red Riding Hood/Briar Rose, thorn, animal, dream. There's something kind of fascinating about fairytales femmeslash; I may write an actual one-shot after I settle on a pairing that I particularly like. I will sully your childhoods, just you watch. ;)

I've spent all day on this... It's my first ever ficmix! That means it's a fanmix with a fic that goes along with it. In this case, it's more like interconnected drabbles, but that's all right.

All of the songs are instrumental except the last one, after which the mix is named.

It's not exactly a happy mix, as you can imagine. I should probably warn for violence in the drabbles, and angst. You've also really got to listen to these songs in order; they tell the story as much as the drabbles do.

The fic is probably rated PG-13. About 2,000 words.

Summary: Somehow she is here. Fingertips that can touch nothing slide through walls and dusty shelves, old rooms and sunlight. Silent music, ghosts of the life that once was–she hears them all, and they fill her until she is empty. The story of the Bloody Baron and the Grey Lady.
