She wanted Quil/Embry/Jake being awesome, Sam/Leah's background (could be just reference), whole pack dynamic. She didn't want Sam/Emily, therefore, Emily only shows up in the form of a muffin. Takes place sometime after New Moon and before Breaking Dawn. You've no idea how much I freaked out when I realized I couldn't write angst for this. A TWILIGHT FIC WITHOUT ANGST, WHAAATTTT?

I told you I'd be making some shippy wallpapers. This is probably the only one I'll do this weekend, though. I was going to have Gwen and Morgana both in that red cloak, but I couldn't find any decent high-res promos of Morgana (strangely enough). So I settled for having them both wearing the same dress...

The flowers are wisteria and apple blossoms. Wisteria meaning steadfast, and apple blossoms meaning promise.

This wouldn't have taken me three hours if I hadn't decided to manip that stupid tree in there...

My computer is broken. I'm at the Apple store now. Will take a few days to fix, since we can't get an appointment. Sucks.

So I decided to try something new: podfic. What is podfic? Podfic is like the audiobook version of fanfiction - that is, fanfiction that is read aloud and recorded - that is, fanfiction on the go. I'm rather fond of audiobook-type things myself, as I like to listen to them while I do other things, such as knitting.

Anyway. I just wanted to experiment a bit, and spent all of yesterday recording The Forest of Seasons which, you may remember, was the story I wrote for malfoy_weasley. It's probably one of the best, if not the best, things I've ever written.

It's also long. Approximately eight thousand words and forty-eight minutes. But it's worth it, I think, because I had a lot of fun playing with sound effects. My reading voice is a little... wavering. As is my English accent. But again, it's worth it just for the sound effects and such.

Author’s Notes: WARNING: ANGST AHEAD. Deals with – or doesn't – imprinting, and therefore includes Breaking Dawn in the trilogy. Sadly. But I like stories every so often where Bella gets what she deserves... although the other characters don't usually go down with her. There's a part where it is hinted at that imprinting can be undone, and no, it won't make sense, it's supposed to be confusing and vague, because Bella doesn't understand - and for all intents and purposes, this is told in her point of view. This is a story in which Bella gets a belated reality check and is hoisted by her own petard. You may actually feel sorry for Edward.

I'm feeling kinda shitty. I've had an awful stomach ache for the past few hours.

So on the off-chance that anyone else on my flist is feeling shitty, too, I thought I'd post my collection of cat macros (plus two non-cat ones, and a couple of funny pictures). I didn't make any of them myself. I don't know who made any of them. But some of these make me laugh so hard that I actually cry... every single time I see them.

I signed up over at bellaxjacob_bb, the Jacob/Bella Big Bang. But it's actually a Baby Bang (Ew, out of context? Ew. Sorry. Carry on.) because you're only required to write ten thousand words instead of the usual, mind-boggling twenty thousand. Which is why I signed up, because this is probably the only Big Bang-type thing I'll ever be able to participate in. Because I don't have the attention span for twenty thousand words. Among other qualms I have. You know. We've talked about this.

Anyway, RPF is also allowed, and you also know I'm a freak for RPF. Specifically Taylor/Kristen. So this begs the question:
